Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abide with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” John 14:23-24 KJV
Many so called believers nowadays, or born again Christians, are afraid to talk about their believe. They do not dare to preach the Gospel, because they are ashamed or afraid that they will lose their friends or jobs or because they are afraid that people will look strange at them.
Love is a two way street. Our test of love for our Lord Jesus is to do what He expects of us. For us to overcome the works of satan in this world or in our lives, we must choose to love Him above our own life. Even when it means losing our life.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11 KJV
Jesus said: “If we say we love Him. then we will keep His sayings.” The Bible says that when we are fearful and ashamed to confess Jesus Christ to others, it is a sign that we are not His.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8 KJV. (Read also Mathew 10:32-33)
We don’t have to sit back and allow a religious spirit to rule over our lives or be lukewarm. The time has come for us to show our love for Jesus Christ, by demonstrating what we believe.
There is nobody that loves someone so much, without letting people know or is fearful to talk about that person. It’s time to demonstrate your love for Christ.

Heavenly Father,
I thank You for Your word. Forgive me for not demonstrating my love towards You, especially in the area of confessing You before men and being afraid. I bind the spirit of fear in my life and I loose soundness of mind in Jesus name. Help me to always practice Your Word in Jesus name. Amen
