THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Ps. 110:1.]” Hebrews 12:1-2 AMP

We as children of God must learn to redefine our goals or focus. We’re not here on earth to focus on the enemies strategy and stay on it. It’s not about what the enemy is doing or is done to us to try stop us from accomplishing God’s purpose for our lives. It is about what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us and have already accomplished for us. The word of the Lord did not commend us to look unto our hurt, but we’re commended to look unto Jesus and lay off everything that will distract us from moving forward.

Also the bible says:

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.” Psalm 23:5 AMP

That table is God’s word for our lives. As we focus on it no matter what the adversary  tries to do against us it will never prosper.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. I choose to lay off the weight of hurt and bitterness in my life in Jesus name. And I declare no weapon formed against me shall prosper in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
