Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.” John 21:3-6 KJV
In our main text we see how the apostles toil all night to catch fish, but they had none. When Jesus shows up he told them to cast their net again. At His (Jesus) word they did in obedience and caught a whole lot of fish. So is the Lord saying to His disciples: Don’t be discouraged, just cast your net again and you will win more souls for the kingdom of God Almighty.
Most of the time you hear people say: Well evangelism does not work anymore. That is going out to the streets and reaching out. Only very few are still doing that, because of the fact that they believe in the great commission. So we only connect through Internet or the media. But the early church did not have this access as we have now. Yet they made impact. It’s time for us to go back to the old school because God Almighty wants to give us a personal experience as we do.
The impact that Philip made was in an open air market place. If it happen to Philip, it will also happen to us in Jesus Christ mighty name.
Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.” Acts 8:5-8 KJV
So don’t be discourage because you have been going out and yet it seems as if people are not responding to the gospel of salvation. The Word of God ALWAYS works.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. I refuse to be discouraged. At Your word, I choose to go back to the fields and cast my net again. Thank you for mass harvest in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
