IN THOSE days King Hezekiah of Judah became ill and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him and said, Thus says the Lord: Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live. [II Kings 20:1-11; II Chron. 32:24-26.] Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord And said, Remember [earnestly] now, O Lord, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in faithfulness and in truth, with a whole heart [absolutely devoted to You], and have done what is good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept bitterly. Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will add to your life fifteen years.” Isaiah 38:1-5 AMPC

God is always looking for an opportunity to manifest Himself through the circumstances we face in life if only we will turn to Him and also surrender our hearts to him in prayer.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and from throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 AMP

When we surrender our all to God and also plead our cause not based on our works but uprightness of our hearts towards Him in what we have accomplished by His power according to His word. Our circumstances will  change. In our text we see a man who reminded God of his faithfulness and devotion  towards Him when he was sick to death and God granted him fifteen more years to live.  Hezekiah did not say he never made mistakes.  But his motives of his dids or accomplishments were right towards God.

God is looking for people with this state of heart towards Him to turn their situation around. If it happened to Hezekiah a man subject to like passion like you and I . It can happen to us too. If we turn towards God Almighty and begin to call on Him in our challenges and God Almighty will turn our situation around. For with God all things are possible and is also possible to the believer who believes in Him.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. I surrender my all to you knowing that the battle is Yours and victory is Mine in Jesus Christ mighty name. I commit my challenges to You and I thank You for a turn around in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
