For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 AMPC

Every battle takes place in a battle field. One of the main battle field in spiritual warfare is our mind. We must learn to prepare our mind for action.

So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.” 1 Peter 1:13 NLT

The question is how are we going to prepare our mind for action? Answer:

Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.” Ephesians 6:14 NLT

The belt of truth is the Word of God . Without the belt of truth the whole armor of God cannot be in position for battle. Our mind must embrace and be renew with God’s Word to stand against the wiles of Satan. The truth in this text is Jesus. Many have giving into their feelings that is why they are defeated. God’s Word is not supposed to line up to our feelings but our feelings must line up to God’s Word. No matter how we feel as long as is not in line with God’s Word is a lie. Let this sink deep in our spirit and mind.

Our mind must be prepared by God’s Word for action against satanic attacks. God does not want us to be passive but active in our mind when it comes to fighting the fight of faith in the spirit.

An active is a mind that meditates on God’s Word and practice it.

Today take action against the wiles of Satan and instead of being passive be active and offensive against the wiles of the adversary the devil.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word . Help me by Your Spirit to be active in mind concerning Your Word and offensive against the wiles of Satan in Jesus name. Amen
