For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where
it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

There is no trial or temptations that the enemy will bring to us that can defeat us. God will always make a way of escape. That way of escape is not mysterious or hysterical. That way of escape is His Word. God will always use His Word to catapult us to His plan and purpose for our lives as long as we hold fast to the Word of the Lord.

The Word of God has the power and ability to produce results by itself.

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The solution for our mind when tempted or going through trials is God’s Word. This is the reason why when Jesus was tempted by the devil He used the Word of God defensively and offensively. And the Bible says the devil departed from Him for a season. Please read Luke 4:1-13.

Today let us take our stand in God’s Word against the wiles of Satan and resist him and he will flee from us.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Thank You for given me Your Word as my way of escape in temptations and trials into Your plan and purpose for my life. According to the Word of the Lord, I resist and rebuke satan in Jesus name. Amen
