Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day. For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.”

Every challenge that we go through in the physical has an expiring date. Therefore, we must learn not to focus on the things we see (surface) as the cause of our problems. But we must focus on the root cause (the invisible cause ) for us to walk in victory. That’s why the Bible says:

For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

For this reason we must learn to lay the ax at the root cause of our problems. So that we can see a change in our physical challenges which is temporal.

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” Matthew‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The change of our circumstances will only come as we focus on the root of our problems. For instance you may feel offended because of the way you were treated by someone. Now, that person is the tool used by Satan but the person is not the cause. That’s why many believers that have walk away from ministries because offense and unforgiveness are still battling with the same problems. And they keep on talking about it.The solution for their problems is in the sprit realm. The spirit of offense is of the devil and until you bind that spirit and renew your mind with God’s word and also loose joy and love, you will still feel the same.

Satan is the author of offense and unforgiveness. So walking away from an argument or situation because of offense is not of God but of the devil. It time for us to put a stop to the wiles of Satan. The Bible says:

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!” Luke‬ ‭17:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s time for us start learning to deal with the root cause of our problems instead of focusing on the surface. Today lay the ax( Jesus Christ) at the root. And in place of being passive, become offensive in Jesus name.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word. I bind the spirit of offense and unforgiveness and I loose joy and love in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
