For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will and purpose but to do the will and purpose of Him Who sent Me.” John‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

It is impossible to live a victorious christian life without embracing the will of God which is the mind of God. In other for Jesus to fulfill God’s will for His life as a man He embrace the mind of God which is the will of God. Jesus had to have one mind with the Father to walk in total triumph over the works of Satan. Until we embrace the mind of Christ and choose to die daily from our own carnal appetite,it will be impossible to walk in victory over the wiles of Satan

Jesus Christ never acted in own accord. That is why He lived a victorious life as a son of God. Due to the fact that God does His job through Him (Jesus Christ) for submitting under His (God) authority and for giving Himself to the will and the mind of God.

This is because I have never spoken on My own authority or of My own accord or as self-appointed, but the Father Who sent Me has Himself given Me orders [concerning] what to say and what to tell. [Deut. 18:18, 19.]” John‬ ‭12:49‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God’s word is His authority over all his creation, including all the power of Satan. And also His word is His will and His mind.

Therefore, in order for us to walk in victory we must employ the mind of Christ as Christ employ the mind of God. This is the reason why the Bible says;

Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!” Philippians‬ ‭2:5-8‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Today make a choice with the help of the Holy Spirit to always function in the mind of Christ.

Let’s pray together; Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me by Your Spirit to live and function in the mind of Christ always in Jesus name. Amen
