Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 AMPC
The reason for anxiety attacks is lack of prayer. When we allow our mind to wander because we refuse to give it a point of focus, anxiety will manifest itself through our complaints. Our complaints is linked to what we have been meditating on. That is why we must learn to give our mind to God’s Word so that the mind will no more wander. When our mind is full of God’s Word it will manifest itself through our confessions in the form of prayer. And because we make God our focus point. He will fill our hearts and mind with His peace.
You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.” Isaiah 26:3 AMPC
Today l pray that God’s peace will fill your heart and mind in Jesus name.
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. I bind anxiety attacks and I loose peace and confidence in God in Jesus name. Amen
