Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Angels are God’s military troops assigned to protect and fight on the behalf of the saints of God in Christ. Every nation have governmental authority or official that protect the law abiding citizens and also the nation,should in case of any foreign invasion. So is the church of God in Christ.

Jesus said:

And I tell you, you are Peter [Greek, Petros –a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra –a huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16:18‬ ‭AMPC

Angels were also included in this text as God’s military troops to defend, fight and protect the church of God in Christ. A great example is 2 kings 6:8-18 (please read).

When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? [Elisha] answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them. Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. And when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, Smite this people with blindness, I pray You. And God smote them with blindness, as Elisha asked.” 2 Kings‬ ‭6:15-18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Israel on this text was God’s chosen people called out to show to the world that God is the only true and living God. So is the church of God now in this world. We see how the man of God Elisha and his servant were surrounded by military troops of angels. Also, it was this military troops that strike the Syrian military troops with blindness.

God wants us to always be confident and live our lives without fear knowing God’s governmental troops called angels are keeping guard on our behalf.

Heavenly Father thank You that I belong to the Church of God in Christ guarded by Your governmental military troops called angels. I thank You also for this great provision in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
