Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my [sad] countenance, and my God.” Psalm 43:5 AMP

We are living in a time when many Christians are sitting in church, hurt, not knowing what to do or who to confide in because to them it is a weakness for acknowledging the fact that you have been hurt or discouraged. Many are discouraged or hurt towards themselves for the mistake they made, towards people or the circumstances they are facing in life or they are disappointed towards God Almighty for letting them go through this period.

Satan has blinded their eyes to focus on their challenges and by so doing he has spiritual weaken them or spiritual immobilize them from moving forward. So many are fainting in their hearts and are weary because of their circumstances and therefore find themselves in a hurting state. God did not call us to fix our challenges ourselves, but He wants us to trust Him with our issues and commit them to Him and trusting Him to fix them for us.

Many today are dealing with depression. As a matter of fact we as believer in Christ are only overwhelmed by the spirit of depression based on how we respond to the circumstances we are facing in life.

I WILL lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]–From whence shall my help come? [Jer. 3:23.] My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber. [I Sam. 2:9; Ps. 127:1; Prov. 3:23, 26; Isa. 27:3.] Psalm 121:1-3 AMP

God expects us to look up to Him and trust Him to heal and restore us when we are hurt or feel discouraged. God Almighty is willing to heal hearts from hurt and disappointments.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows]. [Ps. 34:18; Isa. 57:15; 61:1; Luke 4:18.] Psalm 147:3 AMP

If you can only admit you are hurting before God Almighty and confess it before God Almighty, He will heal you and bring a complete restoration to your life.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word. I declare the spirit of depression has no more power of my life. I bind the spirit of depression and rebuke the adversary against my life in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
