Scripture of meditation:
• Psalm 75:6

Promotion is not human idea but God’s.

“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭75:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He is the God of promotion; that is why after He created man He said:

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God’s desire is that we all make progress in life, but this can’t happen without His help. We should know that Godly promotion brings rest and vice versa.

God never intended for Adam to make progress or to be promoted by his own ability. That is why He gave His Word to Adam as a guide to promotion.

“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The fall of the first Adam is because he did not heed to God’s Word, and as a result of that he forfeited his rights to satan.

That means the instructions you follow from God will definitely give birth to the promotion you want.

“The wise shall inherit glory (all honor and good) but shame is the highest rank conferred on [self-confident] fools. [Isa. 32:6.]”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:35‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We see from the above scripture that the wise here are those who heed to instructions and depend on God’s ability, but fools are the self-confident.

Don’t be a fool!

Remember: promotion is not for fools!

Jesus Christ is made unto us wisdom. Let God’s Word be the lamp and light to guide you to promotion.
