Jabez was honorable above his brothers; but his mother named him Jabez [sorrow maker], saying, Because I bore him in pain. Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request.”
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 AMPC
Jabez had many issues in his life that testifies against him. But the Bible says God settle every scores in his life and gave him a new beginning.
That is why Jesus came and shed His blood on our behalf. So that that which maybe testifying against us in our family background, our city and our nation will not prevail against us in His name.
And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), [God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us all our transgressions, Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].” Colossians 2:13-15 AMPC
Let us all stand fast in our liberty in Christ and refuse to accept that which the enemy tries to superimpose in our lives illegally in Jesus name.
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father, I stand fast in my liberty in Christ and by the Power of the blood of Jesus I cancel every illegal documents, false accusations of the enemy testifying against my life in Jesus name. Amen
