Someone said to Him, Listen! Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak to You. But He replied to the man who told Him, Who is My mother, and who are My brothers? And stretching out His hand toward [not only the twelve disciples but all] His adherents, He said, Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother!” Matthew 12:47-50 AMP
This is a very powerful text which makes us to understand who are truly the family of Jesus. Jesus did not point to His earthly family, He pointed to His followers (disciples ) that hear the Word and practice it.
But He answered them, My mother and My brothers are those who listen to the Word of God and do it!” Luke 8:21 AMP
For whoever does the things God wills is My brother and sister and mother!” Mark 3:35 AMP
Not all that go to church are His disciples. A true disciple of Jesus Christ does not only follow Him but identify with Him as a family by doing what Jesus would do if He was physically present now on earth. Actually, a true brother of Jesus Christ will take up his cross and follow the very footsteps of Christ. That’s another way to say you are identifying with the office of Jesus Christ.
Whenever we magnify our office we indirectly magnify the office of the work of the cross of Jesus Christ and also His (Jesus Christ ) works while He was on earth. True family of Jesus Christ will at all times magnify their office in Christ Jesus .
And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me.” Matthew 10:38 AMP
It’s time for us to take the mask off, and stop pretending. It’s time to make a choice. The world is waiting for us. It’s time for us to magnify our office for Jesus Christ is coming back soon.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. I take off the mask of pretense and choose to be true to the task of Great commission in Jesus Christ mighty Name, Amen.
