Scripture of meditation
• 2 Corinthians 3:6

The reason why many find it difficult to walk in the Spirit is that they operate by the letter of the Word of God. That is to say, they function from sense knowledge, not revelational knowledge. The mind is only transformed by revelation.

That is why Paul by the Holy Spirit said:

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Until God’s Word is dominating our heart and mind we can’t function in the Spirit. Actually, God’s Word can’t be an umpire in you without revelation.

The Word of God says:

“Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.”

The Spoken Word of God “Rhema” comes forth out of the written Word of God “Logos”. The “Rhema” Word of Christ is a specific Word from God spoken directly to us and we can’t embrace it with a carnal mindset, but by being in the Spirit.

“[That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The Rhema Word does not need human effort to make it come to pass.

That is why the Word of God says:

“And He humbled you and allowed you to hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you recognize and personally know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.”

Remember: you can’t function in the Spirit without revelation.

Press into God’s revelational knowledge!
