These six things the Lord hates, indeed, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [Ps. 120:2, 3.] A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.” Proverbs 6:16-19 AMP
The Bible makes us to understand that God hates a lying tongue, a tongue that sows discord and a tongue that manufactures false witness against people.
Most Ministries, ministers, marriages, friends have been destroyed because of a lying tongue. Sometimes christians do lie to one another and we take it for granted. Business men and women do lie for the sake of making extra gain in their business. What we do not realise is that in acting this way as a children of God Almighty, the devil is helping you to join him in hell.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.” Romans 12:17 KJV
God Almighty expects us as His Children to be honest always in the sight of all men because He (God) is honest. The Bible emphasis that all liars have their portion already in the lake of fire. So don’t be deceive. If you profess you are a christian and at the same time you are lying. The devil is helping you to celebrate with him in hell.
But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the unbelieving and faithless, and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations, and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolaters (those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God) and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed)–[all of these shall have] their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. This is the second death. [Isa. 30:33.]” Revelation 21:8 AMP
The Bible says all liars shall have their part in hell fire.
If you’ve been lying repent and ask God to forgive you. Make up your mind to be honest no matter the consequences in Jesus Christ mighty name.
