By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.” 2 Peter 1:4 AMP
God Almighty has given to us already precious promises in His Word. These promises are already fulfilled in Christ Jesus, but the manifestation of these promises is not automatic. The reason why many are not seeing these promises of God in manifestation is due to their speaking.
God gave us His word so that we can say what He is saying or has said. Every time we talk contrary to His word we are agreeing with the devil. And our own mouth forfeits God’s promises from being realised in our lives.
For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.” Matthew 12:37 AMP
It’s time for us to be responsible and disciplined in our speech.
