Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4 AMPC

It is the greater One in us that makes sure we experience the victory that we already have in Christ in every area of our life. Our victory is not based on our titles or position, but we have overcome because of the greater One in us.

For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4 AMPC

The secret of overcoming is trusting the greater One in us to do His job. The question is who is the greater One?

Answer:

To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.” Colossians 1:27 AMPC

As we surrender to the Christ in us and also do what He asked us to do we will experience the manifestation of the victory that is already in us. That’s why we must not fret or be moved by our circumstances, or let our circumstances dictate to us, but we must trust The Christ in us in the person of the Holy Spirit to always put us over or cause us to overcome every challenge that comes our way.

Also, God had promised in His word that He will never leave us nor forsake us, but will be our present help in trouble. So that we can rely on His word, not on our circumstances.

Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. [Acts 18:10.]” Isaiah 41:10 AMPC

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. Thank You Lord for being my present help in trouble and for always causing me to overcome due to Your greatness in me in Jesus name. Amen.
