Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my [sad] countenance, and my God.” Psalm 43:5 AMP

Hurt is also a spiritual thing is not just an emotional thing as many have magnified. Actually what comes out of a man is what was going through in the man.

When the enemy wants to attack us, he attacks where we receive God’s word and if the word of God is not rooted in us that’s our spirit man, it will influence and dominate our will and our actions.

The ones along the path are those who have the Word sown [in their hearts], but when they hear, Satan comes at once and [by force] takes away the message which is sown in them.” Mark 4:15 AMP

The enemy steal the word we receive from God by causing us to focus on our circumstances. In this case the injustice that have been done to us that cause us to be in a hurting position. Most people end up becoming bitter and blame others or God for their present state. Instead of them to take action against  the adversary for the cause of their pain. They become passive by accepting it and they hold on their hurt instead of being offensive by using God’s Word against satan.

Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul [O Lord]!” Job 7:11 AMP

When we’re hurting we should not take it for granted for it can spread like cancer and affect the entire personality of man.

Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God’s grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it– “ Hebrews 12:15 AMP

In other words, before the bitterness from hurt affects others. It has already spread all over the person carrying it for it to get to others. That’s why we don’t take this satanic plaque of depression for granted, because it can only get worse.

Now God Almighty wants to heal our entire personality. He wants it to keep it blameless and make it whole again. If we can admit we are hurting and allow His healing power to restore us.

It’s time for you to receive healing for your wounds.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. I confess(——- speak out loud where you are hurting) I am hurting. Heal me Lord and deliver from this plaque of depression. I thank You Lord for me healing and total recovery in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
