Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews‬ ‭13:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Entertaining Angels can result to your deliverance from demonic oppression or opposition against your life and family. So as in the case of Lot and his children. Please read Genesis 19:1-25

IT WAS evening when the two angels came to Sodom. Lot was sitting at Sodom’s [city] gate. Seeing them, Lot rose up to meet them and bowed to the ground. And he said, My lords, turn aside, I beg of you, into your servant’s house and spend the night and bathe your feet. Then you can arise early and go on your way. But they said, No, we will spend the night in the square. [Lot] entreated and urged them greatly until they yielded and [with him] entered his house. And he made them a dinner [with drinking] and had unleavened bread which he baked, and they ate.” ‭Genesis‬ ‭19:1-3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The bible says Lot was at the gate. That means Lot was spiritually ready and sensitive to receive the angels or strange visitor. Lot was a watchman and was watchful that’s why the Bible mention he was at the gate. The gate is also a place where scores a settle spiritually and decision made about trivial issues.This text makes us to know Lot was in a prayerful mode when this men showed up. Someone says how do you know?. The Bible says He responded to their visit and did entertain them.
