“But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near. For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us, By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] the Law with its decrees and ordinances [which He annulled]; that He from the two might create in Himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace. And [He designed] to reconcile to God both [Jew and Gentile, united] in a single body by means of His cross, thereby killing the mutual enmity and bringing the feud to an end”.

Ephesians 2:13‭-‬16 AMPC

The invisible barriers that stood between us and God was removed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Everything that the enemy is trying to do is not real. He is playing with our imagination, so that we will fall in the prey of thinking his thoughts and agreeing with him. That’s why the word of the Lord admonish us to give no place to the devil in our thought life.

“Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him]”.Ephesians 4:27 AMPC

” Also Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit said” For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)” . 2 Corinthians 10:4‭-‬5 AMPC

It’s about time we take our stand against the wiles of Satan and gird the loins of our mind against his suggestions. Praying all prayers and supplications in the Spirit and stay watchful.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father :

I thank You for Your word. I refuse to allow every wiles of Satan in my thought and I take in captive every thought by the power of the Holy Spirit to the obedience of the Christ in me in Jesus name. Amen
