He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us). For if [the mere] sprinkling of unholy and defiled persons with blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a burnt heifer is sufficient for the purification of the body, [Lev. 16:6, 16; Num. 19:9, 17, 18.] How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?”Hebrews 9:12-14 AMP
We were not save by our ability or our doing. It is the blood of Jesus Christ that brought redemption to us. So now trying to be perfect or trying to work things out in our own way to make God love us more is a waste of effort. That’s why many are dealing with a double lifestyle. For example; some people try impress God by what they do in God’s house or by going to church every Sunday and yet the struggle with bad habits or they try to impress many people for being a christian while their private life with God is hopeless. Inwardly they are frustrated because they are trying to work out their own salvation with their ability. In the meanwhile they fail to understand that they were not saved with their ability, but by the blood of Jesus Christ.
When we begin to understand the work of the blood of Jesus Christ that speaks of God’s mercy daily on our behalf. All what we want to do is to surrender to God and worship Him. Because without the blood of Jesus Christ our worship to God is worthless. For is through the blood that access has been given to us come boldly to the throne room of grace as we are and allow the blood of Jesus to do His sanctification work which enhance our intimacy with God Almighty. Without intimacy with Jesus Christ our Lord through the power of His blood we can’t worship God and be intimate with Him.
Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” Hebrews 4:16 HSV
We must trust God with our all to experience His best for our life. For it’s only through the working of the blood of Jesus Christ that intimacy is made possible.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ that is made intimacy with You possible and I surrender to the power of the blood in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
