But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.” James 3:8 AMP
The Bible says no man can tame the tongue. That means it impossible to control our tongue by our ability. For the same tongue we use to bless people, the same we use it to curse.
God Almighty has a solution for all things He created.
But He said, What is impossible with men is possible with God. [Gen. 18:14; Jer. 32:17.]” Luke 18:27 AMP
When we pray in tongues our tongue is ordered. It comes under the influence of the Holy Spirit and we are sure and confident that what we’ve said is pure and in perfect harmony to God’s will for our lives.
In the upper room experience which the apostles of Jesus Christ had and other of His disciples the Bible says they received cloven tongues of fire.
And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them. And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].” Acts 2:3-4 AMP
As we read carefully at our above text, those tongues of fire came to purge them and also to set their speech on the right course.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. I declare in Jesus name that my tongue comes under control of the Holy Spirit as I practice praying in the spirit in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
