God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good? You see, I have received His command to bless Israel. He has blessed, and I cannot reverse or qualify it.” Numbers 23:19-20 AMPC
God has already blessed us. The question is are we willing and obedient to walk in the blessing?
We are the only ones that can choose to flow or stop the blessing from working. For the children of Israelites to experience the manifestation of God’s blessings. They were given a command to choose to obey God and be blessed or disobey and function under a curse. I did not say we are curse but disobedience attracts the curse. Please read Deuteronomy 28.
That is why Joshua told the people:
Now therefore, [reverently] fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and in truth; put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the [Euphrates] River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15 AMPC
The blessings flow as we obey the word of His grace by allowing the Holy Spirit help us to put it in practice.
However, for us to eat the good of the land, we must be willing and obedient in that which the Lord has commanded us to practice in His word.
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.” Isaiah 1:19-20 AMPC
That is why is very important to hearken to God word. Experiencing the blessing has to do with our willingness and swift obedience to the word of the Lord.
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the Word. Help me by your Spirit to always be willing and obedient in Jesus’Name. Amen.
