And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11 KJV

The word testimony also means to witness, to make a public acknowledgement or confession. It also means to show proof that something is true.

We see from the above text that God Almighty wants us to testify of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done to us through our lives and the lives of others. That’s is to proof that He is alive. That’s why testimony and witnessing is a great key of reaching out.

Somebody is waiting to hear your testimony for his or her own life to be impacted. So don’t keep it for yourself anymore. Someone must hear it.

A great example is the mad man of Gadara (Please read Mark 5:1-20).

And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.” Mark 5:18-20 KJV

If you notice, the unbelievers lives were impacted by the testimony of the mad man who is fully restored to his right mind by our master Jesus Christ. His life was a living proof that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. It’s time to testify.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Lead me by Your Spirit to share my testimony to someone who needs it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
