Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do I wait [expectantly] all the day long.” Psalm‬ ‭25:4-5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

We are born of God to depend on Him in all we do or say. The reason why sometimes our words and actions are not back up with the dunamis of God is because we speak and act as self appointed without waiting on Him to speak and act through us .

Jesus Christ our Lord only spoke and acted because God was doing so through Him. That means He waited always on God to speak and act.

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the ( His ) works (His own miracles, deeds of power).” ‭John‬ ‭14:10‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

This is because I have never spoken on My own authority or of My own accord or as self-appointed, but the Father Who sent Me has Himself given Me orders [concerning] what to say and what to tell. [Deut. 18:18, 19.]” ‭‭John‬ ‭12:49‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Jesus Christ is our example of waiting on God. He success in ministry is tied to His waiting for instruction. He never acted or spoke as self appointed that is why His words and actions was back up with the miracle working ability of God.

We also are called to the same ministry like Christ and to have the same results He had. This is the reason why waiting is a must for every believer in Christ.

Today wait in silence for God’s divine instruction in all you do and say in Jesus name.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father thank You for Your Word. Unto You do I wait all day for divine instruction as concerns Your plan and purpose for my life in Christ. In Jesus name. Amen.
