Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.” Psalm‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Waiting on God has nothing to do with your feelings. Our mind may not comprehend it and our carnal appetite may want us to quit. Our focus should shift from how we feel as we wait, to whom we are waiting for, what He is to us and what He is capable of doing through, with, in, for and upon us as we wait.

This is the reason why we must reject discouragement and take courage in who He is and trust that He is faithful and just to perform that which He has promised us in His Word.

Our confidence should stand on His Word not on our feelings due to the fact that His Word is who He is.

For this reader God rewards all who diligently seeks Him.

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

And it is through our waiting patiently on God in combination of our trust in Him that qualifies us to inherit the promise.

In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.” Hebrews‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Today be encouraged and know your waiting on God is not in vain.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me by your Spirit to keep looking on You as I wait knowing You always hasten Your Word to perform in my life in Jesus name. Amen
