You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your desires go unfulfilled; [so] you become murderers. [To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned.] You burn with envy and anger and are not able to obtain [the gratification, the contentment, and the happiness that you seek], so you fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask.” James 4:2 AMP
One of the reasons why we don’t experience a turnaround in our situation is bad motives. Whenever we’re believing God for a turnaround we should makes sure we’re not motivated by the lust of the flesh.
Though it maybe God’s will for our lives to have what we asked for. But as long as our motivation is wrong God will not hear us or answer us. Evil motives are dominated by evil thoughts that spring from our hearts.
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” Psalms 66:18 AMP
It’s time for us to reexamine ourselves as we seek God for a turnaround miracle in Jesus Christ mighty Name.
