So if when you are offering your gift at the altar you there remember that your brother has any [grievance] against you, Leave your gift at the altar and go. First make peace with your brother, and then come back and present your gift. Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are on the way traveling with him, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. Truly I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last fraction of a penny.” Matthew 5:23-26 AMP

One of the hindrances to and unanswered prayer is unforgiveness. Whenever the Bible talks about reconciliation it brings us back to the cross where Jesus died for our sins in order to make peace with His blood so that we can be forgiven of all our sins by God Almighty.

So we are commanded to the same if we must experience a turnaround in our own lives or see our request granted from on high in Jesus Christ mighty name. Prayer is a form of offering. We can’t bring our request to God with hate in our hearts. Hate is a sign we don’t believe in God. And guarantee to answered prayer is for the believing one who has surrendered his will to that of God Almighty. We can’t say we have surrendered something to God when we still have hate in us ruling our hearts.

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.” Mark 11:25-26 AMP

It’s time to let go of unforgiveness in Jesus Christ mighty name.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. l forgive all that have offended me in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
