Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake, where a large crowd gathered around him on the shore. Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.” Mark 5:21-23 NLT
Jairus believed on Jesus Christ as the Healer. But before Jesus Christ got to his home there were many obstacles on His way. He also met a woman with the issue of blood who delayed Him and it caused Him not to come to Jairus house in time. So the child of Jairus died. The professional mourners and friends of Jairus made a mockery of Him and told Him the child is already dead.
My question is what do you think became of Jairus at the moment? All his hope was gone not knowing how his daughter will come back to life. But just at that moment of the worst situation when all thought it’s too late, Jesus Christ showed up and turned the situation around because Jairus still believed in Him in the midst of all confusion and frustrations. Please read Mark 5:21-42.
When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing. He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying. Holding her hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means “Little girl, get up!” And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed.” Mark 5:38-42 NLT
Maybe your case is like that of Jairus. God Almighty is saying: believe only and magnify Jesus, not your problem. God Almighty maybe slow based on your calendar but I want to guarantee you just like Jairus’ daughter He’ll be there on time to turn your situation around. Believe only and refuse to give into the devils lies in Jesus Christ mighty Name and you will experience a turn around.
God’s presence in you and with you will turn your situation around. Magnify Jesus, not your problems.
