True love in God covers the mistakes of others. The Bible admonishes us to be one another’s brother keeper and learn to pray for one another if we discover what they are doing is not good. That’s what true love does.
Everyone can make a mistake. Most of the time we do make mistakes but God Almighty does not go to your brother and start exposing you. The bible says ” He hides our sins in debt of the sea” because he intent is to forgive us and give us the opportunity to change our behavior and do right.
He will again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. [Ps. 103:12.]” Micah 7:19 AMP
When we go about exposing people’s errors we stir up hatred or strife among one another. God Almighty wants us to pray for one another.
He does this by putting our image in peoples heart to intercede for us . So that we can repent and be restored. Is never a good thing to go about blackmailing people because of their mistakes. Jesus Christ our Lord prayed for us in our sinful state.
Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great [kings and rulers], and He shall divide the spoil with the mighty, because He poured out His life unto death, and [He let Himself] be regarded as a criminal and be numbered with the transgressors; yet He bore [and took away] the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors (the rebellious). [Luke 22:37.]” Isaiah 53:12 AMP
So true love covers the errors of others by praying for them instead of crucifying them and gossiping about them. Acknowledging the fact that it can be us also in their place if not of the mercy and grace of God Almighty in Jesus Christ mighty name.
BRETHREN, IF any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.” Galatians 6:1 AMP

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. I pray for all my brothers and sisters that have gone astray in any way that God Almighty will restore them in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
