I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you. No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.” John 15:9-14 AMP
Most of the time we say: “we love God”. The evidence of loving God is keeping His commandment of love. Every step out of love is sin.
When we don’t follow the instructions of God we are not walking in love.
For example God said: “have love one to another “. But you choose who to love and who to bear grudge against, that’s sin. We all can love and forgive. For God Almighty will not ask us to do something that He has not given us the grace to do. That’s why the evidence of walking in love is keeping the commandments and following divine instructions from God Almighty.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me by Your Spirit to stay in Your love by keeping Your commandments and following Your instructions in Jesus Christ mighty Name. Amen.
