And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you”.
1 Peter 5:10 AMP

God Almighty uses persecution to strengthen us but the target of the enemy is to weary us. The question how is God going to strengthen us or refreshing us when we’re going through trying times.  One of the ways He does this is through prayer and fasting as we set ourselves apart from all the distressing circumstances and distractions and begin to seek Him for directions,guidance and divine intervention in our situation.

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired”. [Heb. 12:1-3.]
Isaiah 40:31 AMP

Persecution teaches us to wait on the Lord in Jesus Christ mighty name.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Thank you for teaching me to wait on you in persecution and also thank you for using my time of waiting to refresh or strengthen me in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
