The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done. If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test], he will get his reward. But if any person’s work is burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire”. Persecution is there to test the Word of God at work in our lives. It is there to prove what we are saying whether we can hold fast to the word of God when tests come. Everybody will go through some test as concerns God’s word. This is what qualifies your work for our Lord Jesus. If we faint then it says something about the root of God’s Word in us but if we prevail it shows we’re rooted and grounded in God’s word.

 That’s why David said

The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over”.
Psalm 12:6 AMP

Without these life challenges there will be no promotion. Persecution is our stepping stone for promotion in Jesus Christ mighty name.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Thank for using persecution to qualify me for the purpose for which you called me in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
