Jesus answered, It was not that this man or his parents sinned, but he was born blind in order that the workings of God should be manifested (displayed and illustrated) in him.
John 9:3 AMP

Persecutions are there for the manifestation of the workings of God. We often have said you reap what you sow especially when someone is experiencing trying times. In this case it was not so. The man did not do anything wrong or his parents .
Jesus Christ used this moment to manifest the working of God . Persecution gives God the opportunity to manifest His unfathomable workings in our lives. This is the reason why Jesus Christ came here on earth.

[But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].
1 John 3:8 AMP

Furthermore, let us all, expect the miracle working ability of God Almighty in our circumstances or lives in trying times in Jesus name.
