But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God created us for a purpose. We are here to fulfill His will for our lives. As we strive to do His will our needs will always be met. The reason why we limit Him is because we are so busy with our own desires and also trying to make our desires come to pass by our might.

Actually the desires we have in our hearts are place there by God Himself but He said we should first delight ourselves in Him then He will fulfill the desires of our heart.

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

We delight ourselves in God when we seek after His counsel for our lives and do His commandments and our needs will always be met because it’s in His will to supply our needs so that we can do His will.

A great example of for God’s will is fulfilling the great commission which is God’s heartbeat.

Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

There is no way that we will serve God’s plan without Him meeting our needs. Our focus should be on doing His will not on our challenges or circumstances and God will make His promises of divine supply, protection and being our defense a reality in our lives.

Let’s pray together:

Thank You Lord for meeting my needs this day even as I go after Your kingdom mandate for my life in Jesus name.
