Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10 KJV

For us to understand what the Holy Spirit meant through Paul the apostle before He (The Holy Spirit) said “finally”, we must go back and read from the beginning. So please read Ephesian 6:1-10.

So without submitting to the governmental institutions instituted by God you can’t be strong in the Lord. Submission comes before strength comes.

When we don’t submit we are trying to be strong with our own ability but not towards God. But when we submit to God we make Him our stronghold in every situation.

GOD IS our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas, Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!” Psalms 46:1-3 AMP

That’s how we become strong in the Lord and the power of might . When we submit to Him we make Him our strength.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. I declare You as my strength, because I submit to You in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
