Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!” But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here! ” Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” Matthew 14:24-31 NLT

Many today are very terrified because their focus is not on Jesus, but on the adverse circumstances around them.

My focus on the above text is on Peter who took his focus of Jesus Christ our Lord though He had a word from Him to walk on the water. If you notice Peter started well by walking on the water but the moment he took his eyes of Jesus Christ (the word )and start focusing on the water which Jesus Christ asked Him to walk on he began to sink.

Many today are just like apostle Peter. Some don’t even dare to practice the Word, because all what they see are the impossibilities. Some in the course of practicing it are distracted by the circumstances that surrounds them, so they start to sink.

Today as fellow worker with you in Jesus Christ. I urge you by the The Spirit of the most High God to stay focus in Your Assignment and believe every Word you have received from our Lord Jesus Christ and refuse to doubt. For he will surely hasten His word to perform in your life.

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.` Hebrews 12:2 NLT

STAY FOCUS IN JESUS CHRIST. No one can walk with God Almighty when your eyes is not on Him

Let´s pray together

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. I am not moved by what I feel or see, but I am moved by the Word of God in Jesus name. I declare my focus is directed to Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.
