My soul yearns for You [O Lord] in the night, yes, my spirit within me seeks You earnestly; for [only] when Your judgments are in the earth will the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God).” Isaiah 26:9 AMP

Our above text makes us to know that we seek God with our spirit. Not with our flesh or soul. Most of the time we find it difficult to relate to God Almighty because we seek after Him soulishly (with our soul).

But the Bible says: “God is a Spirit “. So the only way we seek Him or serve His purpose in our lives is through our spirit.

For God is my witness, Whom I serve with my [whole] spirit [rendering priestly and spiritual service] in [preaching] the Gospel and [telling] the good news of His Son, how incessantly I always mention you when at my prayers.” Romans 1:9 AMP

So praying in The Spirit is one of the ways in which our spirit yearns for the things of God Almighty. And the end result of this great spiritual yearnings for God Almighty brings satisfaction to our soul and it causes us to yield completely to God’s plan and purpose for our lives in Jesus Christ mighty Name.

Lets pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. As I seek after You by praying in The Spirit let my soul experience satisfaction in Jesus Christ mighty Name. Amen.
