In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provide].” Ephesians 6:10 AMP

The Word of the says we should be strong in the Lord. It did not say we should be strong in ourselves. That’s were many missed it. Many are trying to draw strength from their ability or from others. That’s why they experience weakness and are unable to move forward with their lives.

God does not need our strength to accomplish His purpose in our lives. But we need His strength to do what He ask us to do. One of the ways to receive God’s strength is praying in the spirit. Apostle Paul knew of this great truth. When we look through the epistles which the Holy Spirit wrote through Him Paul was always praying.

I thank God that I speak in [strange] tongues (languages) more than any of you or all of you put together;”1 Corinthians 14:18 AMP

He was always praying in the spirit. God Almighty was and is his life source of strength through the Holy Spirit in Him.

For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name]. May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].” Ephesians 3:14-16 AMP

As we pray in the spirit the Holy Spirit breaths God’s strength in us.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. I receive endowment from on high as I pray in the Spirit in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
