There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18 KJV
Many people nowadays are living a life of fear. They are very uncertain what the future holds for them. Especially these last days, were we see wars, crises and all sorts of terrifying things happening in the world.
Jesus Christ our Lord, who gave up His life for us all, commanded us not to be afraid but to look up to Him.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25-28 KJV
Now, the Lord did not say we should be afraid. But He promises us redemption.
The best time to preach the gospel and let people know about Jesus is now. You don’t need to be afraid. We defeat fear by confronting fear. For fear is a spirit and fear has torment. That’s why we must preach this gospel of Christ to all in the world.
If you love Jesus Christ our Lord ,the way he loves you and died for you, then fear not. Go ahead and tell someone not to be afraid by preaching Christ. For the same way that God Almighty brought Him back from the death, He (God) will also deliver you and that person from all things that are frightening to you and that person’s life. That’s why He commanded us to look up not down.
Today, bring deliverance from fear to someone by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is how God’s perfect Love cast out fear.
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for Your Word. I thank You for the Blood of Jesus Christ which has paid the price for all. Today, I bind the spirit of fear and loose soundness of mind and peace in my life and the world in Jesus name. Amen.
