For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 AMP
The truth of the matter is we are not of the flesh whereby we’re controlled of old carnal ways or mind with its lust nor are we under the dominion of satan to be controlled by him but we’re under the dominion of Jesus Christ controlled by Him through the power of the Holy Spirit within us.
And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities, Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father’s] presence.” Colossians 1:21-22 AMP
Satan always wants us to be carnally minded if we let him. That’s why it is our duty to take our place, by refusing the devils lies and resist him and he will flee from us. Satan is always trying to trespass, but he has no right to do so in Jesus Christ mighty name.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. I refuse to act thoughtlessly by sighting with the satan’s lies but I resist his lies in my thoughts and I take it captive by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
