We have been made free by the Blood of Jesus Christ. That’s why our Lord Jesus commissioned to go and preach the gospel and make disciples of Him. In other words it’s through us that liberation and freedom will come to people.
This world is counting on us. So if we don’t do anything with what we have received from our Lord Jesus Christ, many will die and go to hell. That’s why the great commission was given to us. We have a task to fulfill. And God expects us as His faithful children to stay true to the task, just as our Lord Jesus Christ stayed true to His task for us by dying on the cross and destroying the works of satan on our behalf.
Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).” Matthew 28:18-20 AMP
