And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16 KJV
Preaching the gospel is talking about Jesus Christ. Most of the time we spent time talking about ourselves or our pastors when doing evangelism. It’s believing in the name of Jesus Christ and trusting in the power of that Name, not our own ability that cause miracles to happen.
That is why Jesus said:
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18 KJV
The miracles follow the one that believe in Jesus Christ. He is the one that cause the miracles to happen. The consciousness of His presence in us and with us makes things happen.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:20 KJV
The Bible says: “and the Lord working with them not them working with the Lord.”
So its Jesus with us that cause the miracles to happen as we preach Jesus Christ not ourselves. That’s how we prove to the world that Jesus Christ is alive and He is who He says He is.
