And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].” Mark 16:15 AMP
What does it really means to preach the gospel ?
Answer:
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, [Rom. 10:15.].” Isaiah 61:1 AMP
That’s is why apostle Paul said:
And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit and power [a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on me and stirring in the minds of my hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them], So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 AMP
The gospel is about Jesus Christ . And is demonstration of power and the Spirit. This has to with God Himself. So God expects us to yield to Him as we preach the gospel. For it is Him (God) that draws people to Himself. And this has to do with the Holy Spirit drawing men to God.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:44 KJV
Today yield to God Almighty in all you do. And trust Him as you present Jesus Christ to people. He(God) will back up His word with the Spirit and Power.
