When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran away and told it in the town and in the country. Then all the people of the country surrounding the Gerasenes’ district asked [Jesus] to depart from them, for they were possessed and suffering with dread and terror; so He entered a boat and returned [to the west side of the Sea of Galilee].” Luke 8:34-37 AMP

Don’t stop to evangelize because people turn down the gospel of Jesus Christ. Continue somewhere else until we preach this gospel to the entire world. Please read Luke 8:26-40 to understand what really happened.

And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.” Matthew 24:14 AMP

Also don’t be discourage or jealous because people did not listen to the gospel of Jesus Christ from your mouth when you first preach to them, but they end up listening to someone else with like faith as you. We are not competing with one another, our target is spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world. This was the story between Jesus Christ and the mad man of Gadara that was made whole when he met Jesus and Jesus preach to him. The people in that city did not want to accept the gospel when Jesus first preach to them but they end up listening to the restored mad man of Gadara.

But the man from whom the demons had gone out kept begging and praying that he might accompany Him and be with Him, but [Jesus] sent him away, saying, Return to your home, and recount [the story] of how many and great things God has done for you. And [the man] departed, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him. Now when Jesus came back [to Galilee], the crowd received and welcomed Him gladly, for they were all waiting and looking for Him.” Luke 8: 38-40 AMP

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. I refuse to be discourage or compete with my brethren as I carry out my assignment in Christ Jesus to magnify my office in Jesus Christ mighty Name, Amen.
