Slothfulness casts one into a deep sleep, and the idle person shall suffer hunger.” Proverbs 19:15 AMP
Whenever you are not magnifying your office or not after The Father’s Business. The spirit of deep sleep will rule over you.
One of the way you know you under the influence of this spirit is simple. When the precepts of men precedes the word of God for our life and when our own plans or agenda is prioritized more than God’s word for our lives. This is the reason why some in church serve men instead of serving God. All what they do is ritualistic. They do things to be seen of men or they do it because someone told them you.
These group of people draw near to God with their mouth but their heart is far away from God. Life for them is always about what they can get but not what they can offer or give to help someone else.
God Almighty is calling us all back to repentance. For the world needs us. If we don’t take our place by magnifying our office in Christ Jesus, many will die and go to hell.
For the Lord has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep. And He has closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, He has covered and muffled. And the vision of all this has become for you like the words of a book that is sealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, Read this, I pray you, he says, I cannot, for it is sealed. And when the book is given to him who is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you, he says, I cannot read. And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips but remove their hearts and minds far from Me, and their fear and reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned by repetition [without any thought as to the meaning],” Isaiah 29:10-13 AMP
