ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up). He said, In a certain city there was a judge who neither reverenced and feared God nor respected or considered man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, Protect and defend and give me justice against my adversary. And for a time he would not; but later he said to himself, Though I have neither reverence or fear for God nor respect or consideration for man, Yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will defend and protect and avenge her, lest she give me intolerable annoyance and wear me out by her continual coming or at the last she come and rail on me or assault me or strangle me. Then the Lord said, Listen to what the unjust judge says! And will not [our just] God defend and protect and avenge His elect (His chosen ones), who cry to Him day and night? Will He defer them and delay help on their behalf? I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [persistence in] faith on the earth?” Luke 18:1-8 AMPC

One of the key factors that follows relationship are patience and persistence. Many have given up and compromise on their walk with God Almighty, because they don’t pursue relationship. In every relationship it is not the challenges that we face, but what matters is the result we achieve at the end. We should remember God Almighty did not say persecution will not come. That is part of our calling. But also what is very important is the promise of the exceeding weight of glory that will be revealed at the end. So when we don’t magnify our relationship with God Almighty knowing God will perform that which He has promised, we can’t be patient and persistent to obtain the promise because of unbelieve and doubt.

As we magnify God’s relationship with us. He will give to us the grace and ability to persist and be patient according to His inward working by His Spirit in us in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen

For this I labor [unto weariness], striving with all the superhuman energy which He so mightily enkindles and works within me.” Colossians 1:29 AMPC

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Help me through your relationship with me to be patient and persistent in following after You in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
