I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.” John 14:12 AMPC

When the bible talks of greater works it means greater works. The reason why most believers don’t experience these greater works is the lack of relationship with God Almighty.

Jesus Christ our Lord said:

Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work.” John 4:34 AMPC

Jesus could do these great works of God because He was in alignment to the will of God. So it was not Him doing the works. But the Father in Him doing the works.  It was the works of the Father, He (Jesus Christ) came to accomplish not His own works, but the works of His Father. So as long as He yielded to the Father in relationship, the works were manifested through Him because the Father lived in Him.

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the ( His ) works (His own miracles, deeds of power).” John 14:10 AMPC

Greater works are accomplish in our lives as we yield to God Almighty through Jesus Christ by the inner working of the Holy Spirit in us.
