Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered [him] and will regard and watch over him; I am like a green fir or cypress tree; with Me is the fruit found [which is to nourish you].” Hosea 14:8 AMPC

We can’t be fruitful without magnifying our relationship with God Almighty. God said ”with me is the fruit found”. Fruit is there for nourishment. We don’t need to suffer malnutrition spiritually. The reason why the children of God are not nourished is because they don’t go for relationship with God Almighty through Jesus Christ.

Just as the living Father sent Me and I live by (through, because of) the Father, even so whoever continues to feed on Me [whoever takes Me for his food and is nourished by Me] shall [in his turn] live through and because of Me.” John 6:57 AMPC

We can only do well spiritually through the nourishment of Jesus Christ. So forsaking relationship is like disconnecting ourselves from the source of life that sustains us. That why we see many children of God go to church from Monday to Sunday and they still feel empty. It is not a wrong thing to go to church. But our personal time with God in fellowship brings about transfiguration in our lives. And this is what satisfies us and nourishes us individually.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Help me by Your Spirit to Magnify my relationship with You so that I will be properly nourished for Your use in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
